We wanted to record objects and people that had to do with our film sequentially, but I guess it didn't make sense. Also, no one was going to be able to tell us what the film is actually about. We also wanted to film everything during the day but my new cast couldn't meet at night. What I mean by new cast is, I got different actors since my main ones couldn't make it and we need to get this film done we have no time to waste. Today I will be explaining my film in detail with questions I have been asked. The first question is how my project relates to genre conventions . The genre of my film is horror to be specific teen horror. My title sequence challenges the genre convention because it is aligned and on beat with the music we have picked for the film. The design of the words looks scary like and by hearing and visualizing the opening you should be able to tell it’s a horror film. We were choosing between a whole bunch of fonts that had to do with horror and the one we picked we thought would look best with our film. Mise-en-scene also challenges our genre convention because the props we used such as the bear was part of the horror film because what bear isn’t scary if its covered in bandages.  Our film has continuity. In the beginning, I think continuity can be improved by putting the shots right so it matches the music and transitions.  I mean we tried to get the shots to be as dark and scary as possible, but I think when we add the credits it might the viewers understand that it is a horror film. Yes, I think it's an opening. I am really surprised and happy with how it turned out because I was able to match the sound with the shots which I thought was really cool. I feel like we should have added more scary things and maybe changed the music because I'm kinda feeling like the music is too much o an action film than a horror one.  I think that when we add the credits to the film and when they see the name of our title they would guess it's a horror film. This area could be improved maybe with a better sound and scarier shots. I need to improve editing and sound 

 A difficulty we have encountered is meeting up on the weekends. Some people can't come and some parents just won't take them. It's really frustrating. Another problem we have is who's going to record us. I think maybe we could record on our own though also we would have to try it out.   If any more problems occur I would come back here and update you all!! Hey guys I'm back with the update. So we sadly had to let go one of our dearest partners: Jassen. He wasn't really operating and him just getting a free A wasn't acceptable to me. I hope he learns his lesson by our group and we wish him the best on his own project.

 Since I have done and answered all the questions part of each stage I was thinking I could let you inside my brain for a second. I am really excited to go and film this film because I want to know how it is going to turn out, although I have no doubt that it will be good. Creating an actual film must be really hard and tiring and I have now officially felt this pain and excitement. Filming is hard and contains a lot of work and everything needs to be organized and if it's not then you would have to start all over again. When filming is done and you have a look at the finishing project you et all happy and relaxed and pat yourself on the back and say you did it. it is a really happy feeling to know that you didn't send on that hard work and no sleep for no reason. Even though I don't really like this class learning about this stuff and doing this project is very interesting, but I wish we done more hands-on activities. 

 We are still filming in the same location near blanflore one of the group members. It's a really good isolated park and if we go in the afternoon it will create this dark effect we want for our film. Cast wise we are not complete. We are still deciding if one of us is going to be the cameraman instead of one of the characters part of the film. We are hoping that someone will willingly do the job and help us in the name of kindness. 

 Here is my group's shooting schedule. Even though it says here we only need like 3 days to shoot we're actually gonna need more time. Also, depending on when they are coming and who's coming. 

 For this film, we will need a camera, trip pod, selfie stick, and any other device we could use to make our film look good and the quality is efficient. We will use sound within the device we use and we may add a few sounds that aren't part of the device to give our film more feeling.  Right now we are looking for our camera crew, we are struggling to find one because no one has a steady hand and no one wants to be kind and help us. They are all like "oh I have better things to do than record for some kids." I'm very hurt and touched by each and every one of those responses. So anyone out there reading this and would like to be our cameraman please contact me somehow because you are really needed and ms.Landis if you are reading this and you have some suggestions of people being a cameraman or girl please contact me thank you very much.

It helps you determine the type of shot and angles you want to use in your film. Also, if you forget your idea that you wanted to do for your film you could always look back at the storyboard; you could also change it along the way. Your storyboard is like the plan sheet of an essay but to a film. If you ever decided to make a film I would encourage you to make a storyboard, it would help a lot with your film.

I am so sorry for the messy look; I just really frustrated trying to complete this assignment. It didn't allow me to submit it when I did my hair and looked good. The day a had to redo it using my school computer I got lazy, tired, and annoyed. I already knew the lines based on the number of times I redid this video. again my apologies for looking like a hot mess.  

We want our film to make you feel tingly; we want you to be shaking every time it wants to go to the next shot.  We want to make you shiver in your seats. We want our film to look scary. We want a lot of  blood;  we also want our film to include a little comedy.  What's  a horror movie without a very slick comedy line in the middle.  We want to add scary sounds like the  in  blowing but making it sound like a ghost or a sh adow  of a tr ee that looks like a  ferocious  monster.   we can achieve this by thinking outside the box and using our brains. If we try to use everyday objects and make them look like we bought them from a pricey store then we could  achieve  this goal. I know we could achieve this goal b ecause we are a very creative  team,  and we work  together  very nicely.  We also put our minds, hearts, and soul into this project and would be  devastated  if it failed ...

We want our film to be shot in an isolated, very dark place. We don’t  live  need woods or places where it would be very foggy, which sucks. We live more with b uilding around and the only place that has trees with scary forest would be a place called “Fern forest” near my house. I  didn’t  think about filming  there  until now, but I think in order to stay after hours at  night because our film is a horror film you would have to pay maybe.  So,  I think  we   might  just stick with the pat that we have  chosen  which is very isolated and extremely dark at night, which works.   All of  our group members will act in the film and one of our friends outside of school.
