Questions # 4& 5
I would like to do a horror film; in my settings, it would be around dark, scary, and haunted places. Most horror films are usually in those types of places. To add little scares and effects it would need to be in the dark so that we could add fog and hide the people to scare others. In a horror film set, you could do so much and add little things just to make the scene so much better. Usually, you would shoot the scene during a horror movie at night because of the lighting and to get the meaning of the film. Also, it would be shot inside or outside of the house to get the tone of the film.
My audience would be people of all ages and who like scary, jump scares, and dark places. These people would want to watch my film because my film will contain scary, creepy, and jump scares which is what my audience wants to see. In order for my intended audience to watch my film, my trailer or opening film has to be really interesting and maybe reveal one of their favorite actors. According to How To Get People To Watch Your Short Film you have to cast your film at movie festivals with your genre, upload it to youtube, do your own marketing campaign, and put it on a website. By following those steps your film would have tons of views and many comments about your film. If your film was bad, then you would be able to fix your mistakes and make an even better one. If you don’t follow these steps, then you won’t be able to tell if how good your film was or if it would even make a cut in the movie productions.
