Question #3
A comedy’s opening is different from action because actions would contain explosions and fights. In opening comedy’s, the show would give a sneak peek of who is on the show and if there is a comedian on there then you are most likely going to enjoy a nice funny comedy movie. An opening sequence shows meaning and tone without revealing too much by showing tiny clips of the film with the important characters and names of the film. In a 2-minute clip, a whole lot can happen. For example, they could show a glimpse of the main characters, their problem, and obstacles they will face.
If I were to compare my genre comedy to a horror film; a horror film would contain a lot of jump scares and be located in dark haunted places. A comedy movie, it would be located in a weird funny place and contain a lot of funny scenes. In a horror film opening scene, they would show that one famous person who is always in a horror movie and if I contain like very creepy scary music you will be most likely going to tell that it is a horror film. If you like dark, scary, creepy, monsters, and jump scares then a horror film is just for you.
Comedy could be in any film. Comedy is what spices up and genre of film and helps set the meaning and tone of the film. Not all films contain a funny scene, but most films do. A little laughter here and there would not hurt. If would give the fil a higher rating, but if you do not like comedy films then I would suggest not watching a film that contains funny or weird scenes. Although, you should get a little laugh out and learn to not be serious all the time.
