Intro

Hi! My name is Adreana, I'm 14 years old, and I'm excited to announce that for the next 2 months you will be joining me on this adventure as I will be creating a max of 2-minute film opening with my group. I am very thrilled to be assigned this enormity project, by including, creating, and utilize the components to combine our thoughts and ideas together, but I have come to a realization that we will be facing obstacles that we can accomplish.  

During these 2 months, I hope to accomplish the goal of making this project. I want to make a unique film opening that no one has ever seen before. I want to be able to combine original films with newer film opening with my own style as well. I know that I and my group members will be stressed with this project and our other classes, but I know that we will be able to still get it done and have our own unique film opening no one has ever seen before. 

I have 2 group members in mind already and I work really well with them. I hope that even though we are going through a pandemic, it won’t stop us from creating this project for you wonderful people to see. I wish that we are able to go back to school because Ms. Landis said she had cameras for us to use for our project so that it would have better quality like an actual film. Instead, our parents want us to stay home and I get why, but it really sucks that we can’t go back and enjoy our first year in high school. We didn’t even get to experience what it was like. I hope next year it is much better than this year and has the best year ever. 

My final project is a 2-minute film opening titled tricks are for kids. The topic of the project will be horror/comedy about families. I’m in an AICE media studies class and due to its terms, my project will be under the Component 1: Foundation Portfolio. The Assessments Objectives that my project will fulfill are 2 & 3. For my research, I will be using the web to search up productions, method styles, and information I need to make this film opening be amazing and original as possible. I looked at some past students who have done something like my project. I have also watched videos of filmmakers and how they create their own film opening. Since I am in a group, I work with Blanflore Q, Miloura J, and Jassen G.
